STRONG ROOTS

I am running for Westmoreland County District Attorney and I look forward to meeting with you to discuss the issues that are impacting your lives every day.

I was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania.  I am a proud graduate of Penn State University (2003) and Penn State Dickinson School of Law (2006). I currently live in the Lower Burrell/New Kensington area with my husband, Frank-John, and our four small children who attend public school, just as I did. As small business owners, we believe less government, not more is the pathway to success.  We also raise our children to respect and honor our men and women in blue.

I am committed to safety and security in our streets, the pursuit of justice, and the protection of victims of crime.  I am also committed to fully fund our police and build community trust and relationships with law enforcement agencies across the County.

I’ll never forget where I’ve come from…a long line of hard working, blue collar Pennsylvanians. They were everyday hardworking people, just like many of you, that came from humble, immigrant beginnings, but were rich in traditions and committed to their community.  Many of them served in the United States Armed Forces and led a life of public service. As such, I stand in support of our law enforcement community, first responders, our troops, and our veterans.

Both sides of my family settled in Western Pennsylvania.  One set of my great-grandparents came from Greece and built a successful business, Skezas Coal Company.  Another set owned a dairy, and produced Lobaugh’s Country Made Ice Cream.  To this day, I have a piece of coal on my desk to remind me of their hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance.  Their legacy inspires me to serve this community, which has given me so much. It is my time to give back.

My husband and I are teaching our children, as we were taught, to celebrate the uniqueness in all people and value every life. I am so honored that you visited my page and look forward to earning your vote for Westmoreland County District Attorney in 2021! This year, together, we are going to elect a new District Attorney for a new era in Westmoreland County!!
